(Cincinnati, OH) Dec 27th, 2016 – Each year, manufacturers like Nutanix recognize individuals who have been outstanding in their efforts to inform and expand the technical community by sharing their knowledge of IT and its potential to advance business. This year two of the people Nutanix chose were from RoundTower.
Engineers Eduardo Molina and René van den Bedem were bestowed with the title of Nutanix Technology Champion for their service to Nutanix customers, others who are seeking credentials in this technology, and the IT community at large. Candidates are considered based on product expertise (including of other brands), related industry awards and certifications, education and presentations via media, user group leadership, and other contributions to the community.
Eduardo Molina is modest about his role as a Nutanix advocate. “Honestly, most of the time it is so enjoyable, it feels like I’m getting paid to have fun.” van den Bedem is quick to agree. “I love what I do so the time seems to fly by most days.” Both men have multiple certifications and are key contributors on the RoundTower team. Van den Bedem is the only Nutanix Platform Expert in the US not working directly at Nutanix. The enterprise cloud company affords exclusive privileges to their champions, including early briefings, meetings with Nutanix engineers, access to private betas and the Next Community forum, support for Nutanix career development, and guest presenting opportunities.
“We are very proud,” says Andre Wu, Senior Director of Emerging Technologies. “These are enormously talented people who leverage technology to produce positive business outcomes for our client companies and their customers. Then they spend their spare time helping others become better informed and more capable. They are fine examples of the sort of people our company culture attracts.”
RoundTower has been highly acknowledged as a progressive company, earning awards from Ernst & Young, Forbes, Inc. 5000, CRN, Deloitte, The Business Courier, and others. The fast-growing technical consulting firm has three engineers to every one account manager and collectively holds more than 1500 IT and industry certifications. This reflects their philosophy of leading with technical proficiency to produce successful customer relationships—a position that has earned them strong partnerships with the manufacturers they represent.
