(Cincinnati, OH) April 3rd, 2014 – RoundTower Technologies announced today that four of their System Engineers were named to the prestigious 2014 vExpert community. VMware recognizes individuals who “have demonstrated significant contributions to the community and a willingness to share their expertise with others. ” Although the vExpert is not based primarily on technical expertise, these RoundTower engineers also hold many industry certifications to pair with their commitment to social engagement.
The RoundTower 2014 vExperts, with respective years of recognition are:
- Tony Gonzalez – 5th year
- Mike Ellis – 3rd year
- David Stamen- 2nd year
- Rob Steele – 1st year
The VMware vExpert program focuses on recognizing individuals that affected the virtualization community-at-large in the prior year. This can include activities such as blogging, writing books, sharing knowledge to the community (giving back), podcasting, speaking at events, webinars, working within the VMUG community, etc.
The initial program started in 2009 and this year, VMware announced the largest group to date; 754 people were added into the roles and ranks of the vExpert program. Congratulation to the team and we are proud to have them on the RoundTower team!
