(Cincinnati, OH) February 14th, 2017 – RoundTower Technologies, LLC announced today that eleven of their technical engineers were invested with the prestigious vExpert honor for 2017. Many have also received this distinction for multiple years. vExperts act as VMware evangelists, advocating for the application of virtual machine technology and advancing the understanding of others in the field so that they may better help customers and each other.

The RoundTower vExperts for 2017 are:

1st year – Jason Hopkins
1st year – Eduardo Molina – @molikop

Although the vExpert selection is based on social engagement and contributions rather than technical proficiency, these engineers also hold many industry certifications, including four of the coveted VCDX. Each of them has shown a willingness to “give back” by sharing their knowledge and experience with the community through blogging, public speaking, authoring, group activity on Facebook or forum platforms, VMUG leadership, etc. “We are particularly proud of our vExperts,” says RoundTower’s Sr. Director of Emerging Technologies, Andre Wu, “because selection is based entirely upon contributions to the community that are driven by passion and a desire to help others succeed. This approach aligns well with our core values at RoundTower, which are reflected in how we interact with every customer.”

vExperts enjoy certain privileges that assist them in helping others, such as access to VMware’s private directory, insider webinars, evaluation licenses, beta releases, and more.
